A great evening!

The Billerica Amateur Radio Society held its Holiday Dinner at the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant in Bedford on Jan 7, 2015. A good gathering of 27 BARS members attended the festivities which included a Chinese buffet.

Following the repast, BARS VP and incoming New England Section manager Tom Walsh, K1TW, briefly spoke about the new meeting location at St. Michaels Church in Bedford which we will be using for a few months beginning in February. If attendance warrants it, we will consider it for a permanent meeting location.

K1TW also paid tribute to outgoing Section Manager Phil Temples, K9HI, who was in attendance and spoke for a few minutes.

The meeting then concluded with our annual Traditional Yankee Swap!

Next Meeting is Wednesday, February 4th at St. Michael’s Parish Church, 90 Concord Road, Bedford MA. The topic is the Elecraft K3 and the speaker will be Erik Kramer KE1V. See you at this new meeting location. The new meeting facilities are excellent.
